Twilley Grimjack continuation

I bet it's been asked before but I was wondering if there were any plans to actually do the stuff that was talked about at the end of the last issue of Grimjack (#81)
I love the Twilley Grimjack stuff and wish I could read more, I like the idea of him going to hell and getting some friends out as well as seeing the next incarnation.
Do you have a plot for all of this stuff somewhere? I mean, I'd love to even just read the text of the story. I just want to know what happens! Heck, I'd draw it myself!
which brings up another question; Do you ever plan on farming out the work? would you ever let another writer and artist continue the story?
Maybe you could give them the plot or something and let them run with it. Or let them go on with an entirely different incarnation of Grimjack altogether?
thanks in advance for reading/considering

Re: Twilley Grimjack continuation

I think eventually we'll do another incarnation of GrimJack although I don't know when just yet. I've different ideas of what would happen next so i'd have to sort it out. Part of the TwillyJack in Hell was plotted but I don't know if I still have any copies of that; it's been awhile. I'd probably change it at this point anyway.

I have no intention of farming out GJ scripting chores at this point. If/when there is a movie, someone else will probably write THAT but I'll keep the graphgic stories for myself. GJ is my and Tim's creation and i feel a tad possessive. Other writers are invited in to write the occasional Munden's Bar story and that's cool (often wonderful).

I'm wondering if IDW (or somebody else) will collect the Twilley issues from the original run. I'd love to see those stories collected.

Exactly! I found the entire run of comics on ebay for a steal, but I'd love to see them in book form. Not to mention all of my friends that I've converted that are collecting the trades. Which seem to be dead now. Also can't wait to see this new book (manx cat) collected.

You'd think that, as creator, i would KNOW about the reprint situation, wouldn't you? I wish I did. There are issues that are not resolved is all that I know. I want to see ALL of GJ back in print. At some point, I'll have word about when/where THE MANX CAT will be gathered into a TPB but I don't have the particulars on that yet. I'll keep y'all posted.

Talking with Glenn at Shore Leave this past weekend it sounded like several publishers were bidding for the chance to put out the TPB. Sounds like a good situation for all of you.

Anyway, I just finished reading the story and enjoyed it a lot. I couldn't remember just why it was safe in the hands of FraJess, but I skimmed back to pages 80 and 118 and it all made sense.

I would love to see more Grim Jack and new stuff as one of the original members of the original Grimm Jack fan club with Uncle Evis back in the day. LOL

Just started playing Heroclix and would love to see a Grimm Jack fig!
